80 Years in Leyton is a project led by Leyton Orient Trust and Eastside Community Heritage, made possible with funding from Heritage Lottery Fund. Local young people have played a key role in bringing together stories and memories of Leyton Orient Football Club and Leyton, since the Club's move to its current home in 1937.

The project is a series of events to celebrate the history of Orient in Leyton. From renacting the first match Orient played in Leyton against Cardiff City; to celebrating the life of Laurie Cunningham; to interview sessions with students and local residents to share stories, coming together in an exhibition, art installation, performance art and teaching resources.
